What is Ecstasy or E?

By  |  0 Comments

Ecstasy (E) belongs to the family of drugs called “entactogens,” which means “touching within.” E is a mood elevator that produces a relaxed state. It takes effect 20 to 40 minutes after taking a tablet. It gives you little rushes of exhilaration. Your feelings and emotions are heightened and you feel empathy and self-acceptance. The effects of E subside within three to five hours. Even at the peak of the high most individuals can deal with important matters. E does not cause hallucination. E is not physically addictive but individuals can become compulsive in their use of it. If it’s taken too often, it can lose its effect. It often makes people nauseous.

Caution: E tablets can contain other drugs, and can be at varying strengths. Avoid mixing E with other drugs or alcohol. E is illegal and possession can result in prison terms.
