Male Sex Work & Society is a new 500+ page, 4-color interdisciplinary volume exploring male sex work from historical, social, cultural and geographical approaches. It is edited by Dr. Victor Minichiello and Dr. John Scott, both of whom are established pioneer academics in male sex work research and policy.
This new collection explores for the first time male sex work from a rich array of perspectives and disciplines. It aims to help enrich the ways in which we view both male sex work as a field of commerce and male sex worker themselves. Leading contributors examine the field both historically and cross-culturally from fields including public health, sociology, psychology, social services, history, filmography, economics, mental health, criminal justice, geography, and migration studies, and more. Special readings from CHEST contributors Dr. David Bimbi, PhD and Dr. Christian Grov, PhD.
Harrington Park Press will donate 5 hardcover covers of Male Sex Work & Society for auction/raffle. All proceeds will go to non-profit co-sponsors of the event.
Register to reserve your space (up to four people at a time). Registration limited to 120 people which we expect will fill up fast.
